Sister Cochrane hospital stay.

So sister Cochrane ended up in the hospital because of the high heart rate. She's going to have to stay for a couple of days just to get the right amount of medication figured out. The doctor came and said her heart is perfect it's an electrical problem with the heart and medication will fix it. She will be out Friday and alI will be back to normal. She's been on the phone non-stop with her children. They all love you very much. Her brother  will be here to play cribbage all day.

Jeanette and Bernie came to visit sister Cochrane in the hospital. She's doing much better she took a pill and soon they will take her drip out of her arm. She's feeling back to normal. Thank everybody that's been loo3king on Facebook she loves you all.

Cheever Family

We stop by to see the Cheever today. They are a wonderful family.. We had the opportunity to tell them a short story. Then they told us a little bit about what they like to do. I got to play a game of chess which I haven't done for 10 years it was pretty fun. They are a fun family to visit with and we love them so very much they are awesome. And of course Kepner which we get to have in nursery on Sunday and also at MOPS has a place in our hearts. What a great family!

Roads after rain

For family and friends in Utah I thought I would let you see what it's like when it rains here. This particular spot in the road is in New Strawn. Three times since I have been here it has been flooded so I couldn't pass to go see the Hewlett a family  in our branch. I had to go a different way to get to their house which is a little longer. The water is deep enough that it takes 3 to 4 weeks before the road is passable again. It may not look too deep but it is and you could not get your car through it. There is quite a dip in the road right here where it goes down and then up so it's a lot deeper than it looks.

Elder Campbell and Elder Wright

Elder Campbell is turning 20 today. We had him over tonight at 8 and of course they couldn't come in so they ate their brownies and ice cream outside on the porch. He said he's had a great day. Elder Wrights and Elder Campbell on on our front porch.

Kim and Margie

It is not the best picture but this is a picture of our dear friends, we were playing Qwirkle while waiting to go to the branch picnic at Kelly park. We had a great time with Kim and Margie. MARGIE WON THE GAME WHICH WAS AWESOME.  Sadly I forgot to take pictures of the picnic which  was awesome too. Everyone had a great time and the food was wonderful.

Ricardo and Debbie Alvarado

Ricardo wasn't feeling good and ended up at the hospital last night around 10 or 10:30. We were there for a couple of hours. Then they sent him to Topeka Hospital. He's going to do a stress test this afternoon and we'll go from there. I drove Debbie to the hospital in Topeka last night we got there about 4 o'clock a.m. . Ricardo may be here for a couple of days we'll have to see. But it looks like everything's going to be okay in the end. We had to walk a long ways to get Ricardo's room. Then we had to go back out to the car and get some things. That was enough for Debbie so she got in a wheelchair and I gave her the ride of her life. All's-well just keep Ricardo in your prayers. Debbie spent the night in Ricardo's room and I spent the night in the family Lounge I think I got maybe 45 minutes asleep.

Sister Van Pelt invited me to lunch today. I aways love any time I get to visit with her. She is a dear friend and has so many talents. She is a wonderful gospel doctrine teacher and college Spanish teacher. She of course speaks German as well since that is where she was raised. She knows how to get things done. She is a wonderful blessing to the Burlington Branch and anyone that knows her. She is a surviver she conquers what has to be conquered.  She rides her bike all over to stay fit. She is an amazing lady and I  love her.
