Wonderful Day today, Lina is getting baptized today! Sister Cochrane and I both made cookies for the baptism.

Daniel and Tanya's baby's funeral

Daniel and Tanya Clyde we're in our branch and move to Manhattan right after their baby was born. So when we heard that their baby died we decided to go to the funeral. We were able to ride with Carol who is the Methodist preacher's wife and Judy. The whole way there and back we talked about the gospel. And during the luncheon we found someone to give us a church tour since we have never been in that church before. So even though this is a very sad time to have to go to a funeral it was also a time we could plant seeds in Carol  and Judy's heart.

Ricardo and Debbie have come over 3 different times and watched the Work and the Glory.  They also watched the 15-minute movie of the Stone Cutter. Sister Cochrane and I enjoy having them over it's always fun.

Awesome day to serve  at the Burlington  fair. But very hot but we enjoyed serving from 4 to 7 getting tickets and working with the kids at the bouncers.

District Meeting

Everyone helps with the luncheon at district meeting but Sister Birks, Sister Lee, and Elder Ortmann brought the main dish today. It is sister Birks birthday tomorrow so we are celebrating today.

At district meeting this week Elder Jackson made BBQ Chicken it was great! Everyone brought something but he made the main dish it was wonderful!

Kansas Mission picture with the Bells

The last picture of everyone in the mission before for president and sister Bell left. They did a wonderful job serving here in the Kansas Wichita Mission and we will miss them. They are very loved by everyone. They left the next day after the picture was taken.

Melinda has been a member of the church for over a year. I meant after only being in Kansas for one week. Sister Garner who was out here before me and and stayed for one month  after I  came is the one that introduced me to Melinda. A couple of months ago she became my visiting teacher partner which is awesome. As many of you know I take my visiting teachers out and my visiting teacher Partners out for their birthday. So after serving from 8 till 12:30 at the hospital on Thursday we have Melinda over we watched a movie called War room I encourage everyone to watch it it is amazing movie. It is a movie that truly teaches you how to pray it is so awesome .  But not just watch it but to implement it in your lives. I made Melinda  her favorite cake which was German chocolate which we ate during the movie. (Not all the cake just a piece but we did have popcorn tòo.) Then we went to Across The Border which is a restaurant for dinner. Melinda's grandmother also came to dinner with us she isn't a member of the church but is a wonderful delightful woman. She is the owner of the dollhouse Which I showed you many months ago that she owns with her twin sister. Then I went with the elders at 6:15 to visit an investigator. Returned home after 9 it was a great day.
