Adoption Dean & Levi

One of my prayer, which have been answered since I have received my mission call is that Jessie and Ashlee were able to foster two little boys just a year apart, ages one and two. But the biggest miracle is that they had them only five months before they were able to adopt Dean and Levi. Which is an extremely short time also very unlikely to happen. In the courtroom, the day of the adoption, Jessie and Ashlee sat at the table with Dean and Levi on their laps. The caseworker went up to testify. She said that she had been in Ashlee and Jessie's home more than once a month. That they handled the children extremely well and seem to have no problem with them. Where foster homes that they had been in before had, a hard time and was one of the reasons they didn't keep them. Dean and Levi sat happily on Jessie and Ashlee laps for over 40 minute, totally content and quiet. I truly believe their guardian angels were there. I feel like the courtroom was a sacred place that day. The judge said to Jessie I see you lost your father while you were on your mission. Then ask him where he went on his mission. The judge then said I can relate. I lost my mother while I was on my mission. One of the reasons Jessie and Ashlee stated they wanted to adopt now is because I was going on a mission and would like to be there for the adoption. So the judge asked me where I was going. Tears were flowing from my eyes more than once while we were the courtroom. Bill and Wendy, (Ashlee parents), and myself were amazed how Dean and Levi sat quietly on their lap the entire time. How everything went so perfectly with no problems.  I feel that this whole process from the time they fostered the boys to the time they adopted them is a miracle. Levi and Dean became part of our family from the minute that Jessie and Ashlee took them home for the first time. They were legally adopted on July 15, 2015. And if all goes well will be sealed to Jessie and Ashlee this Saturday in the Salt Lake Temple at 9:20am.
