1st day at the MTC

I arrived at the MTC at 10:40am. There is no way you can get lost! There is a person at almost every corner to tell you where to go or what to do. I was told to park my car and not unpack any thing. We spent the morning going to different room to get different items then we went to oreintation after that it was lunch. After lunch we went to another class. In this class I met my missionary companion I will have here at the MTC. One Sister Ellis goes home at night so she will just hang out with us during the day. Sister Rust will be the one with me day and night. We are all going to different missions and have different callings.  At 3:30 we were done and we went to find our apartments. Sister Rush knows more about computers than I which doesn't take much but she has been a help  for me to get the internet set up here. The spirit is wonderful here it promotes the desire to serve and do all you can for the Lord. Everyone should come on a mission if possible Just being at the MTC is amazing! Well
I have some homework to read so I will go for now.

Tate a new grandson

What a week!  Jill went into the hospital at 11:30 Monday night to be induced.  So I had the boys. Just after 3 AM, Tate joined our family.  I spent the week packing and tending kids.  After complications, Tate and Jill came home on Friday.  Saturday morning we finished cleaning out the house and the kids went home for the day to see their new baby brother. What a blessing to have all this done before my mission.  Today I went to church with Angie and right after her block of meetings I was set apart by President Howell.  It was amazing blessing. So now I am a missionary. Since I am missionary, Angie and I went and visited 2 sisters, Lola Moon and Lois Parry.  They were both spunky and doing well.  And now we're going to have our last family dinner  tonight before I leave.

Tomorrow morning I leave for the MTC. So that's the start of my mission.
